Best/Bond Hybrid Layout
Hello Dearest Dreamers!
I hope this post finds you well! Just wanted to drop by today to share with you one of my latests scrapbooking layouts. This is my first true Hybrid layout and I am pretty proud of it!
I decided to go with a 6X8 layout for this project.
I wanted to start with a photo of my husband and I and I decided to print this photo from our wedding photos from last month. I added a red puffy heart from this month's Story Kit 'Give' to match the journaling page.
I opened a document in Photoshop and made it 6X8. Then I pulled in the 'best of the best' card from the digital story kits. The card is originally blue, but after rewatching a lesson from the Hybrid class, I changed the color of the card to a darker red (it's a color we're both drawn to). I imported that page flag from the Bond story kit from this past February.
I decided to kind of write a letter to my husband in the journaling. I used the 'you + me =' digital stamp from the Bond story kit, the 'magic' stamp from the Magic story kit (I got this in a past Story Revisited sale on Ali'd website). The US circle is also from the bond story kit. I am not sure which story kit the heart comes from (I pulled that from a brush in my collection).
Overall it was a simple project and I am rather happy with it. I am using these hybrid projects as a way to learn more about how to use Photoshop all while documenting my stories.
