December Daily 2017 || Days 1-3

Happy Monday! I hope this post finds you well! Today I wanted to share a look at my days 1-3 in this years December Daily album. I didn't complete these photos daily because I wanted to film a process video for you guys, which you can watch here

Onto the pages!
Day 1 was super simple. I saw a picture in the one of the DD Groups that I am in where someone bought herself an elf to hang out in her scrap room because she doesn't have kids. I LOVED the idea (I'm weird I know). So this is Scrappy, she is my helper. I took a picture of her sitting on my shelves that doubles as a display area as well as a photographing area. I added the 1 from Ali Edwards and trimmed off the edge with my new Tim Holtz Tonic scissors.
The journaling card is just the back of a Jasmine Jones card that looked like a piece of paper. I used some red and white smaller alphas called Carissa from American Crafts that I purchased at Tuesday Morning. They have a fun swirly pattern on them that I felt just fit. I also added some stripped washi from a set I picked up at Michaels.
The 4X6 card is a digital card that I got from the Ali Edwards Digital Main Kit from this year. I printed it out just for this page because I figured it was appropriate for Day 1.
Day 2 was all about an Ugly Christmas Sweater party that I went to hosted by a dear friend of mine from my Army days here at Bragg.
The top left photo is a flip up photo of me and my friend Kelli. Her outfit was completely ridiculous and perfect for the party and I giggle every time I see it. I used some silver washi tape from my stash to make the flip up card that you'll see below.
Underneath that top left photo is a better photo of me in my "Oh Snap" sweater that I got at Walmart. I felt it was appropriate with my Spoonie status. :) I used some regular clear scotch tape to tape that to that party time card from the Black and White Digital kit from Ali Edwards. I have the physical card but I decided I wanted to type my journaling out for the full story so I printed the digital card out.
The right photo is me and a friend playing the candy cane version of bobbing for apples. I won that round. :) The whole point is to use a candy cane to hook as many other candy canes as possible in a minute and drop them in a bucket without using your hands. It was hysterical.
The 4X6 photo is the group shot we got of everyone in their sweaters. The tab is from Ali Edwards as is the little white 2 alpha, both from my stash.
Day 3 was incredibly simple for me. We met a friend of mine downtown and took the photos for our Christmas cards this year (plus one I wanted to take of my husband for his Drum page). I used two word phrase stickers from my stash that I felt went with the photos.
I printed that Love card from the Ali Edwards 2017 Digital Main kit and hand wrote my journaling about the day. The heart is from a Doodlebug Milk and Cookies sticker sheet I got in Simon Says Stamp December Monthly Kit (which is sold out).
