My Personal 6X8

Hello My Dearest Dreamers!

I hope this post finds you well!  Today I wanted to share with you a look at my new project, a Project Me mini album! I was looking for a place to house some stories that I didn't necessarily want to put in our Family Project Life album and maybe also just pictures that didn't make the album or just random stories. Stuff from digital kits I subscribe too or whatever I created that day. I got this idea from Ali EdwardsAmy Gretchen, and Andrea Gray. All three ladies do some variation of a personal project life album and I thought it was perfect for what I wanted to do!

I ordered a blue 6X8 cloth album from Studio Calico. It has 6 rings like the Ali Edwards albums, which means that I have plenty of page protectors to use.

Project Me Cover Photo

I started with a 6X8 photo of myself that my husband took earlier this year as well as a few digital stamps from Ali Edwards (Details and Me story kits).

Project Me Hello December

The first story I told was using a digital card from Larkindecember that I resized to a 6X8 template in photo shop. Here I decided to do some random journaling revolving around my 2017 One Little Word as well as our excitement at decorating our house for Christmas this year. This "Hello December" card was a perfect start to my album, since that was when I decided to start this album!

Project Me OLW 2018

The other story that is already in my album is a look at my 2018 One Little Word Story. I used cards with the LarkinDesign's Out With The Old journal cards. I recolored the arrows on the 'start here' card because I don't like the color pink. And then I did my journaling on the bottom 4X6 flower card (pink is ok on flowers....). The big One Little Word art is a digital stamp from one of the OLW project classes. (by the way, the 2018 class opened today!)

**One Little Word is an album concept designed and marketed by Ali Edwards, which encourages you to choose one word to journey with you throughout the year. Learn more on Ali's website here: Ali Edwards.

This is just the start of my Project Me album and I am pretty excited about it. I can't wait to add more stories to the album, and I already have some in mind!

I am working on uploading two more December Daily process videos as well as my Washington DC travel album flip through this week to my channel. You'll get at least one video today and probably one tomorrow and the day after. I am trying to get projects completed before the halfway point of this month!

Until next time
