Week In The Life 2017: Friday

This week has really flown by quickly! I can't believe that this project is almost over! Today's photos are all black and white because for some reason I was really loving the B&W look.
0745 || I wish I could say it was a good morning... but it's been a long week and I really need a break.
0805 || I make it a point to open the black out curtains in my room and make my bed before I get dressed in the morning. Not entirely sure why though, although my mother always tried to get me to make my bed and I never did growing up.
0857 || Due to an appointment this morning I am not going to my only Friday class. While I wait for the appointment, I am spending some time working from the comfort of my bed.
0908 || this morning is also for chores. Gotta be productive this morning so we can relax this evening.
I love how Ali talks about using the self-timer on her phone and setting it up. I also like that she likes to capture the "mundane" aspects of our days because they are part of our story!
1021 || thankful that today's appointment was over quickly. In to get my shot and out within 45 minutes. That's a first for the VA.
1131 || thankful that I forgot my list today because I barely had enough room for the few things that I did buy. Hazards of having a drum kit in the back of your SUV.
I usually hate driving around with all his kit in the back of my car. However, we had a show last night and another one tomorrow so it's kind of pointless to take it out of my car just for a single day when all I have is school and a trip to Walmart real quick.
1258 || Got home, unloaded the groceries, put them away, changed over laundry, built the new lamp, then headed to lay down and watch YouTube videos for a little while.
1438 || My husband sent me this photo for this project from his funeral detail practice. They're doing it with 9 people, which apparently isn't normal. I never had funeral detail, so I really wouldn't know.
1520 || Organized and put away the pieces of my Lens story kit from Ali Edwards. Can't wait to use this kit to tell stories, especially during Week In The Life!
1531 || Lee was so late getting home today that I took a 2 hour nap on our comfy love seat. When I laid down to watch YouTube earlier, I wasn't able to sleep... but this time I did. I love our new furniture! (I slept until almost 6PM when my friend stopped by to drop off food for Lee. I took this with a self timer before I actually fell asleep)
1851 || Thankful that hamburger mac is a favorite in this house. It is so easy to make, especially when neither of us feel like cooking.
2143 || After a hard week for both of us, we curled up together on the love seat after a quick trip to Walmart. Tomorrow is going to be a long day! After so much tension with a group of our friends, it's starting to bleed into our relationship (mostly just the stress) and we needed some time to just relax and talk.
It's now 2250 and Lee is passed out while I watch Criminal Minds on Netflix. Hopefully I get some sleep tonight because it's been extra rough this week and we aren't done yet.
