2019 Occasions/ SAB Swap Cards

Hello Dearest Dreamers!

I hope you all are having a great start to 2019! It’s been pretty quiet over in our house. We’ve both been working at our day jobs and I have been working on some upcoming stuff for this business. The work never stops (but that’s okay cuz I really like it).

Today I wanted to remind you that you can officially order from both the 2019 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. You can find them here on my website!

I also wanted to share with you the first of some swap cards I made in a Demo only swap here in North Carolina. I am anxiously awaiting the cards that others made, and when they get here I will definitely share them with you.

These were each made with a stamp set from one of the catalogs, since I decided to participate in both swaps.

The first card I made is a dimensional card using the _____ Stamp set in the 2019 Occasions Catalog. This was a stamp set I received while I was at OnStage 2018 in Orlando, Florida. I’ll be honest, it took me some time after getting the stamp set before I was inspired to use it. I searched Pinterest and then found this idea, CASE’ing it from another demonstrator.

I even decided to stamp the inside of the card with some of the flowers for an added touch.

Here's To Those Who Inspire Us and Don't Even Know It SAB card

This card was made with the Hello Cupcake stamp set and the Part of My Story stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I got Part of My Story as a prize patrol while at OnStage and Hello Cupcake as a SAB reward back in December when demonstrators were allowed to pre-order some new goodies.

I originally got the Hello Cupcake stamp set with a specific group of ladies in mind, but as you can see it definitely worked for this project as well. That is the beauty with SU stamp sets (in my opinion). They are so versatile and can be easily matched with other sets for different looks.

I love how simple these two cards were to make, especially when it came to reproducing them (I needed 11 cards total). My stamparatus definitely came in hand for this project, although it isn’t 100% necessary to make these cards work.

I will be adding a free PDF version of these instructions to my PDF store this week, once I have more time to sit down and photograph each step!

Until next time!
