A Little Note | Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Happy Saturday Dearest Friends!

I hope this post finds you well! Today I am participating in a blog hop with my friends over at Stamping with Friends! This month the theme was Bloggers Choice and I wanted to share this plant themed card that I made with you.

If you’ve come over from Terri’s blog, then welcome to The Dreamer Creative! If you somehow got out of order on the blog hop, there is a list at the bottom of this post with all the links..

For this blog hop, I decided to focus on the Bloom Where You Are Planted suite from the Annual Catalog. I am really into plants right now so I have really enjoyed using this suite of products to make cards.

I started with a side folding A2 sized card base in Soft Succulent. I then cut down a piece of coordinating DSP for the background that measures 4” X 5.25” in the white brick patter. On top of that I layered a piece of the Cinnamon Cider brick pattern that measures 4” X 3” as a place to put the plants that I fussy cut out. I dislike fussy cutting… but I made it work for these two plants from the DSP.

I then used a piece of Evening Evergreen and the Stitched Nested Label dies for the background label and the smaller Stitched Nested Label die and a piece of DSP for the sentiment panel. I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink and popped it up on Dimensionals.

I am thrilled about how this card turned out!

If you got lost or out of order, here is the list of blog posts for this blog hop!
