Expressions in Color | June 2021 Paper Pumpkin

Hello dearest friends!

I hope this post finds you well. Man, the hits just keep on coming for me! I was still recovering from the crazy road trip last week when my husband tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday evening. Yep… he tested positive! We immediately went into quarantine and I reached out to my work to let them know. Luckily, we have a guest bedroom, guest bathroom, and his office and drum room are all on that side of the house. The only downside is that the kitchen isn’t in the middle of the house, so he has to walk through the living room to get anything. He tries to minimize that, instead asking me to bring stuff to him and leave it by the door. It’s really weird to both be in the house but sleeping in separate rooms and hanging out in separate spaces. Good news for me! My test came back negative yesterday and I got my first dose of the vaccine. He’s halfway through the expected time frame and I am monitoring his health (from a distance). Hopefully he gets better soon and life can get back to normal.

Anywho, today I wanted to share with you a look at last month’s Paper Pumpkin kit called Expressions in Color.

I really enjoyed playing around with this kit! I love the alcohol technique background and really wanna play around and make some of my own.

I only used the supplies in my kit (other than the stamp block) for this set of cards. I should have some alternate cards coming up here soon to share with you! Be on the lookout for that post coming soon.

Are you new to my social media? Never heard of Paper Pumpkin? That’s perfectly alright. Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription kit from Stampin’ Up! Every month they send you a nice little box with enough supplies to make several projects. While it is usually cards, sometimes they send stuff to make treat boxes for Valentine’s Day and for Halloween. These kits are great when you want to be crafty but you aren’t feeling inspired to make your own projects.

Interested in giving Paper Pumpkin a try? Order your kit here! You can suspend or cancel at any time!
