"I Love" Sundays v.28

Hello Sunday friends
I hope you're all having a good weekend.

** The good news is my boss actually cares about us as people. I was having some issues Thursday morning and he let me go home to handle my issues, no questions asked. He didn't pressure me for answers when I got back either, just asked if I was okay, and dropped it after that. It was greatly appreciated that I could leave to handle my issues even though it was during work.

** He also proceeded to buy the whole shop lunch that day too. Was awesome!

** There are more birthdays in the month of May then I even know what to deal with. Got two on the 9th, 3 on the 11th, 1 on the 15th, 2 on the 17th, 1 on the 20th, 2 on the 25th. ... and I am sure there are more that I can't even think of right now without looking at a calendar.... Needless to say, it's ridiculous!

** Completely redid my entire photography website J.L. McClure Photography and have been working on making that blog better. Getting everything in line for when I get home. The best part was the new website I set up was much cheaper then my old one and I can actually make changes directly to the website without having to build another one from scratch and then do some complicated stuff to streamline it all.

** Yesterday I got to go to my first ever Geek Girl Brunch and meet some awesome new ladies! We have a lot of the same interests and we talked about tattoos for quite a while. It was nice to meet people who like the same things I do (which is ind of hard in the military). I even got two people requesting my photography services!!!!!! Always a plus side.

** Sadly I found out Friday that a dear friend of mine was admitted to the hospital so that definitely kind of changed my weekend plans up some. So after driving 3 hours to my Geek Girl Brunch in Ramstein, I had to drive another 1.5 hours back towards home to Stuttgart to make it to her house to help take care of everything. I had to supervise her husband and three kids and make sure they cleaned up the house since she was on vacation for a week. It was not fun having to be the mean drill sergeant type, but it was the only way to keep them from fighting with each other and actually get the place cleaned up. So after that, I ended up staying and hanging out with the teenage daughter and her friend watching a Fast and Furious marathon.
