Parisian Blossoms

Happy Wednesday dearest dreamers!

I hope that this post finds you well!

Today I wanted to highlight a gorgeous suite in the 2020 Spring Mini Catalog, one that I might not have been so sure about in the beginning, but one that I love now that I’ve played with it! The Parisian Blossoms Suite!

I wasn’t too sure about the colors, but I ended up really loving the combination of Cherry Cobbler, Petal Pink, and Pool Party!

These two cards are both made using the Parisian Beauty Bundle, the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP, and Silver Foil Sheets.

The first card I made is actually a gift card holder.

I used Petal Pink for the card base, cutting it at 4.5X11” and scoring it at 5.5” and 9”. I cut an addition square at 3.5X3.25” for the front piece. I used some adhesive at the 9” crease to make a small pocket for the gift card to go into. You only need a thin line on the two side edges in order to keep the gift card inside.

I cut the DSP into several sizes: 1.75X4”, 3.25X4”, and 1.25X4”. I also cut a panel at 2.5X2.5” to go on the very front under the Eiffel Tower.

I cut some Whisper White for the inside at 4X5.25” as well as a square at 2.75X2.75”.

I adhered all of my white cardstock to the pieces and then my DSP to those places. I used some dimensionals and attached the smaller panel to the short end of the card a little over the halfway marker.

I also cut an Eiffel tower from Silver foil sheets and adhered that using a fine line glue.

This was just a simple side folding A2 card made from a Pool Party base and I cut the Whisper White panel to 4X5.25”. I cut the pink DSP to @.5X5” and the blue piece to 1.5X5” and layered them onto the white panel, eyeballing an equal distance.

I used the Silver Foil sheet to cut another Eiffel Tower to go on the front of the card, with a Cherry Cobbler flower underneath from the Forever Blossoms bundle that is a part of the suite. On top of that I cut a sentiment panel and stamped the sentiment.

Until next time!
