Paper Pumpkin March 2020 || No Matter The Weather
Good Morning Dearest Dreamers!
I hope that this post finds you well. My university has closed (both to students and workers) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we’re currently trying to figure out if my office is essential or if we’re able to work from home. Luckily I was able to get some software downloaded onto my laptop instead of being issued another computer (I prefer my MacBook) so hopefully we can start working from home here soon.
With all the craziness going on, I was excited when my Paper Pumpkin kit arrived! It’s always nice to receive this subscription box in the mail because they do all the hard work for you in designing the projects. While I occasionally make alternate projects, I usually just make them as they come in order to get some crafting done and feel at least a little bit productive when I haven’t had time to work in my studio.
I loved the cards that were designed for this box! I grew up in Florida, so rain was a huge part of my life during my younger years. I love the smell of the rain and this kit really caught my attention. I think the one on the top left is my favorite, I love the clouds!
I don’t always make the cards exactly as they are shown in the sample pictures. I don’t always use the twine/ribbon because it can be a pain in my behind.
The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that there are several different projects to be made in one box. These cards are super easy to make and then ones that I reach for to send out when I need a quick card. My husband’s grandfather turned 90 this past January (90!!!!!) and my first thought was to give him a unique card from my Paper Pumpkin card collection.
If you want to get your own Paper Pumpkin subscription, you can purchase yours here. It’s about $22 a month in the United States. It ships on/around the 11th of each month and arrives just a few days later (depending on the pandemic). I can’t wait to see what April brings!
