Celebrate Card Kit

How is your Sale-A-Bration going? Are you getting a lot of cards made? Thanks to work being crazy due to this pandemic, I haven’t gotten a whole lot done, but I’ve managed to get some things made.
Today I wanted to share with you a batch of cards that I made using a 6X6 DSP sampler and the Happy Birthday to You stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Do you remember in this post what I mentioned you could get if you joined my team during SAB? I mentioned the mini paper trimmer (SO CUTE) and a 6X6 DSP sampler? Well, I made it a point to use that DSP sampler pack in order to make these cards. The good news is that if you don’t get the sampler pack, these papers can be found in the 12X12 DSP packs in the 2020 Spring Mini Catalog!
These cards are extremely easy to make once you have an idea of what you’re doing.
To complete these projects, I first went through the DSP to find ones that I wanted to use. This was the most important step because I focused my entire color palette for each card on the DSP. If you didn’t get the DSP pack you find these papers in the following suites: Birthday Bonanza, Best Dressed, and Lily Impressions (only in SAB). I cut the pieces of DSP down to 2X5.5”
I also used the Happy Birthday to You stamp from the SAB catalog. Each image was stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and the base was colored with the Bronze Stampin’ Blend marker. I used the Mossy Meadow Combo Blends to color the leaves, Dark Poppy Parade Blend to color the berries, and Light Crumb Cake to highlight parts of the cakes.
I cut the card bases as side folding A2 sizes cards. Coastal Cabana, Grapefruit Grove, Bermuda Bay, Purple Posey, Lovely Lipstick, and Old Olive. I used the following blends in similar colors in order to color the flowers.
I used the Stitched Rectangle framelits to cut out the sentiment panel on Whisper White before stamping and coloring the image.
