HoneyBee Cards
Happy Wednesday my dearest Dreamers!
I hope that this post finds you well! Today I am sharing another set of cards that I made a few weeks ago (I told you that I was busy). It is so easy to batch process cards with the help of the Stamparatus, so I definitely do that a lot.
Today I wanted to share a set of cards that I made using a bundle from the Mini catalog as well as some specialty DSP that you can get from the 2020 Sale-A-Bration catalog. Sadly, this paper won’t be available for long, but I am definitely making the best of it while it’s available!
I used a lot of the same products to make these cards.
Basic Black Cardstock, Crushed Curry Cardstock, Daffodil Delight Blends, HoneyBee Bundle
This set of cards was made an upcoming monthly class, and the girls loved it! I can’t get enough of the Honey Bee stamp set and dies and the DSP was definitely a super bonus.
This is one of my favorite cards that I have made! I usually don’t like gold foiling, but this paper pack really knocked it out of the park.
This is a side folding A2 sized card. I cut the DSP to be 4X5.25” for a card front. I used a die cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the sentiment panel. I used the honeycomb die and some gold foil paper to make the honeycomb in the background before stamping out several different bee’s. I used the Celebrate sentiment from the stamp set and a smaller stitched die.
This is definitely my second favorite card that I made for this set! It was also incredibly simple.
It’s a side folding A2 sized card using Crushed Curry cardstock. There is a Basic Black layer on top that is 4X5.25” and a piece of DSP that is 3.75X5” for an awesome layered look.
I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies to make the sentiment panel and cut out a set of 3 Honey Bee’s. They were colored using the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends
This is the third card that I made. It has a side folding A2 base in Basic Black, a layer of Crushed Curry at 4X5.25”, and a layer of DSP cut to 3.75X5”. I used a square shaped Stitched So Sweetly die for the sentiment. I actually messed it up and had to turn the sentiment paper over, hence the backwards stitches. I used the Daffodil Delight Blends to color the flowers as well as the bee’s.
This was the simplest of the cards that I made. It’s a side folding A2 sized card using Basic Black. I used a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies to make the Crushed Curry panel. I used some Whisper White to cut out the honeycomb pattern twice as well as the flag piece for the sentiment (which I just cut using my snips). I also used Basic Black to cut a banner across the card to back the flag shaped banner.
Overall I really adore the cards and will probably make some more for my shop! So whatcha think?
