International Highlights Blog Hop | Thanks A Bunch!

Hello Dreamers!

I hope that this post finds you well. I am participating in the June International Highlights Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. Click on the International Highlights link in order to vote for my card! You may remember that I tried to participate back in February, but I was having linking issues. I think I finally got them figured out!

Today I wanted to share another set of cards using the 2020 InColor cardstock, Versamark Ink, 2020 InColor Enamel Dots, Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set, and Clear Embossing powder. supplies can be found at the bottom of my post.

I love batch making card sets, especially for my online card store located here on my website. It also shows the versatility of our products and how you can mix things up. Besides, who doesn’t want/need a set of thank you cards to hand out?

Once these cards were made, I realized that I honestly should have clear embossed the images on the card fronts like I did on each of the sentiments, but I didn’t think about that until I was working on the sentiment panels. I’m silly like that!

Each of these cards are made using A2 side-folding card bases, using each of the new InColors for 2020.

I cut a card front at 4X5.25”, which is where I do all of my stamping. I took the big sunflower, the little sunflower, and the individual leaves from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set. On the Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, and Magenta Madness cards I used the big sunflower and stamped around the edges. I honestly should have used the Stamparatus to make sure that the images were clear enough, but you live and you learn.

After that I adhered the card front to the base. Once I was done, I cut sentiment strips at 4X1” strips before I stamped and clear embossed the sentiment, adhering them using dimensionals. To add a little pop to them I used the enamel dots.

These cards were super simple to make and took very little time at all. Like I mentioned, if I were to make them again I would clear emboss the images on the background to make them pop.
