Flowers for Every Season | Simple Cards

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday

I hope this post finds you well. Things are kind of crazy over here in the Dreamer household. What was supposed to be a 3 day job to fix my bathroom has turned into over a week’s worth of overhaul. My landlord is paying a construction company, but they are taking FOREVER. Also, they only have one guy working each day, which is kind of weird. On top of that my summer classes have started and I didn’t get one of my books in time, which means I had to ask my professor for some grace time due to the book issue. ANNNNDDDDDD I am getting ready to hand out my two officer positions within my VFW and move on up to the District Officer level. Lot’s going on.

ANYWHO, let’s get on to today’s project.

Flowers for Every Season 1

When I first saw the Flowers for Every Season DSP, I had some serious mixed feelings. On one side, there are simple patterns that I can definitely make use from. On the other side there are a bunch of flower patterns, some I am not sure what to do with. I was scrolling through a Demonstrator facebook group when I found the answer.

Someone (I need to go back and find out who so I can give credit) was having similar problems with the DSP. Super flowery isn’t my style, and some of these color combinations are kinda strange to me. This demonstrator suggested cutting the DSP into 3X3 squares to make cards!

Flowers for Every Season 2

These nine cards became super easy.

Cut the DSP to 3X3 squares

Back with the Basic Black cut to 3-1/4 x 3-1/4”.

Stamp your sentiment with the sentiment from Celebrate Sunflowers using Tuxedo Memento Black ink.

Your card is complete! Super easy to replicate and now you have a bouquet of flowers card for every season! You can even put them in a clear card box and give them as a gift!

Your projects don’t have to be difficult, sometimes simple is better.

I am anxiously awaiting my orders from Stampin’ Up! so I can share the new product that I have for you. Hopefully it ships soon, I placed my order last week. Trying to be patient… but it’s difficult.

Until next time!
