Hello Friend Card Set

Hello friends!

Today I wanted to share with you a set of cards that I made recently. Something that I always like to do when we get new In Colors is make a set of cards that match except for the color used. You can see last year’s card sets here.

This year I decided to focus on using the Prized Peony stamp, Biggest Wish Stamp set, and the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I started with my standard A2 sized Whisper White card that is scored into a side-folding card. I then used the Prized Peony stamp and my Stamparatus and the ink/card stock in the new In Colors. I also stamped Friend in the coordinating colors and the hello in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I followed this up with using the largest Stitched So Sweetly rectangle and die cut out the colored panels before adhering them using Stampin Dimensionals.

Honestly, while I like the card, I still feel like I am missing something on these cards…. like they aren’t 100% done but I don’t know what is missing. Maybe some enamel dots? Hmmmm…. I am waiting on the remaining Stampin Blends to arrive in the In Colors (there were two sets that were back ordered) and maybe once they get here I can add some clear rhinestones and color them… hmmmmm.
