Succulent Birthday
Hello my Dearest Dreamers!
I hope today’s post finds you well and you’re having a good week! Today I wanted to share a birthday card I made for a coworker using the Simply Succulents Bundle from the 2021 Spring Mini Catalog (I believe the stamp and dies are both found in the new 2021 Annual catalog as well). The coworker, E, that this was made for loves plants and so this bundle was perfect for her.
I started with a side-folding Basic Black A2 sized card base. I stacked a piece of Rococo Rose card stock measuring 4” x 5.25”. I stamped the big image using Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White before cutting it using the coordinating dies. I colored the image using Stampin’ Blends in Just Jade, Rococo Rose, Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, and Cinnamon Cider. I adhered the image using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the same bundle using the same Tuxedo Black ink and die cut it using a label from the Tasteful Labels dies.
On the inside, considering the size of our team, I decided to double the white inside by gluing two together so more people could write their message!
This card was a hit with everyone in my office and I love how it turned out!
