Mother's Day 2021

Hello friends!

I hope this post finds you well. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mother’s out there. The ones who birthed children, the ones who chose to raise other people’s children, those that lost children, and those that are missing their Momma’s today.

Today I wanted to share with you some cards that I made for a few of the mother’s in my life.

Mother's Day Flower 2021.png

This card was made for my Mother-in-law. I used a previous Paper Pumpkin stamp set from last year’s Mother’s Day. While I usually try to only use current stamp products, I do sometimes refer back to previous Paper Pumpkin stamps because they can be so perfect! I used a standard sized Gray Granite card base, a Soft Succulent card panel and layered piece, and Whisper White for the sentiment panel. I used Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent, and Gray Granite Inks.

Mother's Day Flamingo

This next card was made for a dear friend of mine, Noelle, who is obsessed with flamingos. Like I mentioned in this post, I knew that I needed to make her some cards when I saw this bundle in the 2021 Spring Mini Catalog. It was too perfect to pass up. I focused on using Flirty Flamingo cardstock and ink, Old Olive ink, and coordinating Blends. I used a Layering Oval for the sentiment panel.

I made this simple Tasteful Touches card for a dear friend of mine, Ash. I decided to go with simple and was inspired by Pinterest. I used Highland Heather, Gray Granite, and Basic Gray inks to make this simple card.

Mother's Day Flower Jar.png

The last card i made was this one for another friend in our group. I made this using Jar of Flowers stamp and the coordinating jar punch. The background is some retired gingham DSP and I used a panel from the Stitched So Sweetly die set. I usually try not to showcase retired products, but I do sometimes use retired paper in my personal projects. I need to use it up somehow.

Whatcha think? Like these random Mother’s Day cards that I made this year? What kind of cards did you make this year?

Until next time,
