Dragonfly Garden Inspiration

Can you believe that it is already May? I feel like this yea is flying by again. I hope today’s post finds you well.
Today I wanted to share with you a simple card that I made using the Dragonfly Garden bundle in the 2021 Spring Mini Catalog. This card is inspired by a friend of mine who says that Dragonfly’s are the spirits of departed people visiting us.
This card was incredibly easy to make and I am excited about how it turned out. Maybe I’ll replicate this one in a rainbow of colors just for additional options! Or maybe I can make it in a card pack… hmmmm… the possibilities are endless.
I started with a side-folding, standard A2 sized card in Evening Evergreen. I added a smaller panel of Soft Succulent before working on the image panel. I repeatedly stamped the Dragonfly image from Dragonfly Garden across the front, alternating how they were stamped. I then stamped it again on a scrap piece of paper in Soft Succulent before using the coordinating punch to punch it out. I adhere this to the card front before moving on to the sentiment panel. I die cut two panels from the Stitched So Sweetly dies, one slightly bigger than the other. I stamped on the Soft Succulent panel with some Evening Evergreen ink before adhering them to he card. I did add a white panel on the inside and stamped another dragonfly there.
