Snail Mail Hello

I hope you are all well! It’s kind of strange to think that we’re already in February!

Today, I wanted to share a card I made using the adorable Snailed It stamp set as well as the Biggest Wishes sentiment set. When I first saw the Snailed It bundle in the Occasions catalog, I fell in love with it! I LOVE receiving Snail Mail (letters), so this was perfect for me. While surfing Pinterest a few weeks ago I saw a card made using the Biggest Wishes stamp set and wanted to combine the two. Thus, this Snailed It Hello card was born.

I started with my standard side folding card base in Whisper White. I made some card panels using Basic Gray and Just Jade. I then took another panel of Whisper White and Basic Gray to stamp out Hello in a repeating pattern. I did use Just Jade ink to stamp out a Hello in the center of the panel to help make it pop out.

I then stamped a snail with presents before fussy cutting it out (there are coordinating dies… I just didn’t use them for some dumb reason). I colored the snail using Crumb Cake Blends, the shell was colored with Just Jade and Daffodil Delight blends, and the presents were colored with Magenta Madness and Just Jade. I popped the snail up on dimensionals and the card is ready to go.

I am very bummed that this Snailed It bundle isn’t carrying over. I honestly think I might keep it for my personal snail mail!
