Custom Order: Hello
Hello Friends!
Hope you all are doing well!
This past weekend I was able to deliver some custom orders for a friend of mine. She had requested some simple Hello themed cards and I was beyond excited to come up with some ideas for her. Ann and I met last year at the Dirtbag Ale’s Farmer’s Market. She makes handmade Goat Milk Soaps and Beer Soap (made with Dirtbag’s Beer). She is a super sweet lady and I love making cards for my friends.
I made her three sets of two cards, using products from the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog as well as the brand new 2021 Annual Catalog.
This first card was actually a simple black and white card made using the Dragonfly Garden Bundle. I love the simplicity of this card and the versatility of it as well. This is a side folding Whisper White card base. I stamped the two images on Whisper White card stock with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I think punched out the Dragonfly and adhered it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added some Glitter Organdy Ribbon and a bow to complete the card.
The second set of card that I made is a beautiful Hello Friend card using the True Love DSP from the Spring Mini Catalog. This is a gorgeous flower themed DSP and I couldn’t help but use it. I colored one of the flowers using Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of card stock using the Biggest Wish stamp set. I first stamped the big Hello sentiment in Balmy Blue before stamping the friend sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink, then I die cut it using a label from the Tasteful Labels dies before adhering it using dimensionals.
Here is a look at the last card that I made for Ann. I made a simple, top folding A2 sized card with a Gray Granite card base. I used Whisper White as the card front, stamping the flower from Tasteful Touches with the new Fresh Freesia ink, layering it across the front of the card in a descending way. I stamped the cursive hello sentiment from the Biggest Wishes Stamp before die cutting it with a label from the Tasteful Labels dies and adhered it with Dimensionals.
Super simple cards and I absolutely love them. I think I need to make some more for myself and for my Etsy shop!
Until next time
