Painted Poppies Congratulations

I really think I might be obsessed with the Painted Painted Poppies stamp set! Something about Poppies and being a Veteran I guess. This card might look a little familiar if you’ve ever seen my Buddy Poppy cards (either in person or on my Etsy store). This is kind of modeled after one of them.

I started with a standard side-folding A2 sized card base in Crushed Curry. I used the single poppy and stamped it at different heights using Crushed Curry ink. I cut a panel of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and a piece of Whisper White to be the sentiment panel. I then stamped the collection of poppies stamp across the Whisper White side by side.

After that I grabbed my Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie inks and the pain splotches stamps to kind of color the poppies. I grabbed a Congratulations stamp from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit (although you can use any sentiment) to finish off the card.

Whatcha think? You’ll probably continue to see me use this stamp set for a while because I really think it’s a versatile stamp set!
