Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Hop- February 2020

Happy Monday dearest Dreamers!

I hope you’ve had a good weekend! I got to spend the weekend at a crafty retreat, where I made a TON of cards! Got to the retreat Thursday night, set up on Friday, and started knocking out a bunch of cards.

Make sure you tune in to my Facebook Live tomorrow night, where I’ll share how I made one of them!

If you’re unfamiliar with Kylie’s International Blog Hop, it’s pretty rad! Every month she gives a theme for your cards, and then you submit your project via blog post for people to see/vote on. This month’s theme was Thank You!

It seems like I’ve been kind of obsessed with the Painted Poppies Bundle from the Mini Catalog. Like at least half of the cards that I made this past weekend involved those two stamp and die sets. Which makes me giggle! I might wanna branch out sometime soon! I actually had a difficult time deciding on which card to submit for this Blog Hop, so look out for a post tomorrow with a second set of Thank You cards.

Painted Poppies Thank You Seaside Spray 1

I decided to pair Seaside Spray, Whisper White, and Basic Black for this card. I used the group of flowers as the background for both the base layer and the Whisper White panel. I also have realized that I have a fascination with those paint splatter stamps in the set as well.

I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to make the scalloped panels and just layer them using Snail Adhesive before attaching them to the card base with dimensionals.

A super easy card made more visually appealing with layers!

I also used the group of poppies to stamp the inside of the card for added interest.

I plan on using these cards as Customer Thank You’s for the ladies that attend my card class on Wednesday night.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card!

What do you think of it?
