Peaceful Poppies Thank You Card Set

Hello Dearest Dreamers!

I hope that this finds you well! This past weekend was spent at the Scrap Your Heart Out Retreat, hosted by my upline Elaine of Paper Crafts by Elaine. Twice a year she holds a weekend crop for anyone who is interested to attend and I’ve attended several since I became a demonstrator. Now, you don’t have to be a demonstrator to join, you don’t even have to be a scrapbooker or card maker! At one of the last ones, there was a lady doing something involving paint. You can read more about this last retreat here.

Today I wanted to share with you a set of cards that I made while I was at the retreat.

As you can see, I definitely made a rainbow of a card set. I used some of my favorite colors from Stampin’ Up! in order to make this set of cards, 8 in total.

I used Poppy Parade, Grapefruit Grove, Crushed Curry, Call Me Clover, Blueberry Bushel, Bermuda Bay, Purple Posey, and Rococo Rose.

These are incredibly easy to batch process, which is what I did. I picked the colors and then cut the base card stock to be a side-folding card. Then I cut out 16 pieces of Whisper White cardstock at 4X5.25” for both the card front and to put on the inside to give you a place to write your message. Then I cut out 16 of the poppies, two for each card.

I lined up my ink pads in rainbow order and went to town. All of the stamps came from the Painted Poppies Bundle from the Spring 2020 Mini Catalog. The cards were easy to assemble and I very quickly had a sent of 8 Thank You cards to give out. I might list these in my Shop, but I haven’t decided yet!

What do you think? How are you using the Painted Poppies Bundle?

Until next time
